I live in a mobile home and me being a teenager my room is very messy. Someone in my family saw 2 mice and caught them both with a mouse trap. I need to clean my room but I’m afraid a mouse will pop up. I am absolutely terrified of mice and want to get rid of them as quickly and cheaply as possible. please help!!!
ooops I forgot to mention I have 3 cats in the house and they didnt friggin get the mice!!!! errg

the little tape things that the mice are attracted to are cheap. also mouse traps work well

there are some kind of an orange and apple that you can place around that they don’t like and it is better for the environment but I can’t remember what they are called, I asked the same thing because we were using decon and they crawled in my stove and died and i had to get a new stove twice! I will find it and come back
Find a stay cat and bring it in for a while ????
Put peanut butter on a mouse trap and rub it on the lever really good, so that they can’t just grab it and run. Put it up against the wall on one side so they can’t move that way. They love it and before long they will be all gone. It really works!

Mouse traps with peanut butter are the best, like everyone says. Set them up along the side of the wall, like behind the sofa. But the trick is…since they don’t really work that well all the time and mice can be dang clever…is to set one directly in front of the other. So if the get the peanut butter out of one and it springs but doesn’t get them, when they jump to get away, the second spring will trap them. Make sure to put them out of the way of the cats. And you REALLY need to find the source of entry and block it up, or it will be a continuous problem. Find out where they are getting in, or they will multiply in your house BIG TIME!!
EDIT: PLEASE DO NOT USE THE GLUE BOARDS OTHERS ARE SUGGESTING. DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MUCH SUFFERING THAT POOR MOUSE HAS TO GO THROUGH IF THEY GET CAUGHT IN ONE OF THOSE? LITERALLY, THEY GET STUCK ON THE GLUE BOARD AND STARVE TO DEATH. THAT IS HOW THEY WORK. IF YOU WANT TO KILL THEM, DO IT AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE SO THEY DON’T HAVE TO SUFFER. THAT IS JUST PLAIN INHUMANE!!
traps with peanut butter and glue boards work, poison is the worst thing i’ve ever used, because they just crawl up and die anywhere. I had one in my stove the last time, and i just won’t do that anymore. i live in a small place and the smell was horrible for days. i am petrified of them too. they are one of my fears. i actually believe one ran across me one night in bed. if not, i sure was dreaming and fearing it did. OOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHH! i can’t stand them.
