主講人：Prof. Bhesh Bhandari （昆士蘭大學教授，Journal of Food Engineering副主編）
Dr. Bhandari Bhesh obtained his PhD from ENSIA (France) in Food Process Engineering in 1992. He is currently a full professor in School of Agriculture and Food Sciences, University of Queensland, Australia. His major research areas include innovative food drying science and technologies, Micro and Nano-technology in food processing, glass transition related issues in food processing and 3D printing of food materials.
Prof. Bhandari has published more than 300 journal papers, co-edited 5 books and authored 35 book chapters. His publications have been cited more than 15,000 times and in 2017 only his publications were cited more than 2100 times (Google Scholar H-index 59). Thomson Reuter has listed Professor Bhandari as the most influential scientific minds and Highly Cited Researcher in his subject field.
Professor Bhandari has received many reputed awards such as "Outstanding Drying Research Award" during The 9th Asia-Pacific Drying Conference, "Excellence on Drying-Applying Fundamentals to Practice" in 2012, Bruce Chandler Book Award 2015 from Australian Institute of Food Science and Technology (AIFST), Ho Chi Minh City Award from Vietnam government, "Top 25 Q-index" award among more than 2500 researchers at the University of Queensland.
Prof. Bhandari is an editor of Journal of Food Engineering. He is editorial board member of several international journals, such as International Journal of Food Properties, International Journal of Food Engineering, Food Biophysics, Food Science and Human Wellness and a guest editor of Drying Technology.
